A tire hotel holding eighty wheel sets and one holding nearly seven thousand look like two completely different jobs. In practice they are the same job at a different scale — which is exactly why they should run on the same system.
The range is wider than most people assume
We counted on 2 September 2026: 59 active shops run a tire hotel in DekkPro, holding 55,710 wheel sets between them. Nine of them keep fewer than a hundred. Twenty-two sit between one and three thousand. The largest holds 6,887. The median shop holds 833.
The same system all the way up
The shop with eighty wheel sets does not need a simpler system. It needs the same one, without paying for capacity it is not using yet. And the day that hotel has grown to three thousand, nothing has to be replaced: the same call-ins, the same storage locations, the same invoicing, the same reports.
Growing should not cost you a migration
The most expensive thing a tire hotel can do is switch systems mid-season because the old one gave up. When the system already handles 6,887 wheel sets for someone else, your growth is just more rows — not a project.
